ASP.NET Web Application Developer

Overview

As a web developer, you will be challenged with the task of developing web based applications using the latest framework and techniques. You will be working in team led by our experience Technical Director who believes in using reusable components, patterns and framework based development.


Your Responsibilities

  1. Customising Content Management System for various websites
  2. Develop Web applications using standard frameworks
  3. Developing interactive site features using AJAX, jQuery and other frameworks
  4. Partake in Product Development for the Content Management System

What We're Looking For

  1. A good degree or diploma in Computer Science or related field required
  2. Good foundation in OO related concepts is required
  3. At least 2 years of development experience in ASP or ASP.NET (Junior Developer)
  4. Knowledgeable in key Web Technologies and Concepts such as XHTML, JAVASCRIPT, CSS, SSL and others.
  5. Knowledgeable in writing and coding SQL statements
  6. Experience in developing Database Driven Web Applications
  7. Hands on experience in MSSQL 2000/2005 database
  8. Experience in developing and customising UI component such as Tererik RadControl or ComponentArt Web.UI advantage is a plus

Web Project Executive

Overview

Active8 (www.active8.com.sg) is seeking an experienced Project Executive. You will be working closely with the our clients as well as our very own designers and developers to manage and deliver large-scale web projects. The ideal candidate is someone who's self-assurance and competent approach inspires clients as well as the project team.

Your Responsibilities

  1. Work closely with the Web Consultants in understanding the clients' web requirements
  2. Deliver the project with the Web (Interaction) Designers and Developers
  3. Prepare and maintain creative the necessary documentation required for each web project (design briefs, project plans, etc)
  4. Document detailed designs and their behaviors for the IT and QA teams
  5. Guide a multi-disciplinary team through the process of turning business objectives into final designs, language, and functionality that provide a cohesive and rewarding customer experience
  6. Champion all quality checks required for a website.
  7. Participate in early stage discovery, research and analysis for the new website
  8. Explore new ideas, web technologies and trends.

What We're Looking For

  1. At least 2 years of web/agency experience with client-facing exposure
  2. Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills with an ability to identify opportunities in obstacles
  3. Natural ability to pay close attention to detail and instinctively go the extra mile to produce great work in a timely manner with little supervision
  4. Appetite to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, growing organization
  5. Be able to research and evaluate new web products and front end technologies. You must have a clear picture of what the future of the web holds (HTML5, CSS3, etc.) and be a firm believer in standards and their evolution
  6. Possess strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  7. Be up to date with the latest online trends and technology
  8. Be mindful of website and web application performance
